Although pretty much balanced as it relates to time spent on Family, Self and Work, Family again was where most focus was placed. It appears that Home did not get much time, however, spring cleaning both the entryway and family room was time consuming. As it relates to self, the beginning of the month I did a lot of Self activities, but towards middle and end of month, most of the time was spent on nurturing myself by cuddling with Jeff.
Easter was a bit stressful; neither Jeff nor I wanted to host a big Easter dinner. Tyler brought Sierra for Easter dinner; Jeff was a huge help. All-in-all, it was a good, but tiring, day.
Birthday was disappointing, not because I was let down, I just wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Took the Friday off with Jeff, but was interrupted with things to do (Cooper daycare, Timing of Ty’s gift delivery and Therapy). Jeff/I did drive up to Cranberry Barnes and Noble, I took a short nap (that clearly was not enough time), had therapy then met Tyler in Washington, PA for dinner. Had to leave Bacon, Bourbon and Bear due to staffing; Jeff made the waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings chill out with showing his ID.
Days were either warm or showed the more than likely, last of snow showers. Here in Pittsburgh, mostly grey skies.
New meals included One Skillet Lemon Butter Dijon Chicken with Orzo & Feta Sauce, Blue Dragon Penang Curry Cooking Sauce Kit, One Skillet Louisiana Style Chicken and Rice, Lemon Pepper Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Caramelized Onions (Easter dinner), Everything Bagel Breakfast Casserole (meh), and Parmesan Chicken & Brussels Sprouts (meh).
Below are highlights of the month divided up to my focus’ Family (and friends), Self, Work and Home. I really love doing this reflection because I don’t realize how much I do in a month; I think I’m lazy and I’m not.
