Inspired by Heart Filled Spaces, made these adorable pumpkins. It’s a really easy and mindless craft, as long as you make the hole big enough (finally got it after the 3rd try – hole is about the size of a quarter)
Afraid to use Styrofoam balls, I purchased Styrofoam pumpkins on Amazon, thinking it would be easier to wrap. Hindsight, I think it was more difficult because the pumpkins were smooth and had crevices. I got around this by wrapping a crevice 3 times, then moved to the next crevice and continued this until the entire pumpkin was wrapped in yarn. Pulling yarn tight when wrapping is a must. On the positive side, the pumpkins came with their own stem, so I didn’t have to make one.
Yarn used was: Hue & Me Mustard Bulky Yarn and Lion Brand Oatmeal Bulky Yarn
