Candle Making

A colleague mentioned a locally owned business where you make candles, so over the Thanksgiving holiday, my daughter and I took a day off to try it out.  Candle making is so much easier when you have someone experienced in mixing fragrance oils and don’t have to melt and pour the wax.  Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch at a local small chain Mexican restaurant. 

With the nights being so dark early, I actually tried out (and was successful) making my own candle at home.  A few things I want to remember:
