The Fear of the Unknown:  My Path to Trying Out (and enjoying!) Embroidery

I haven’t tried embroidery since that time from oh long ago…was I 7 or 8? …sitting in a play room by myself while my sister worked out at the gym.

I’ve been wanting to try it out again, but my fear of being afraid I would fail stopped me.  I didn’t want to invest the money if I failed.

Homemade Soap and Washcloth

There is something relaxing in the repetitive motion of knitting the same stitch over and over, which is why I love small, easy knitting projects.  It’s a non-thinking process that feels productive because my hands are busy and the result is a product.  It’s a craft that lets me multi-task, very easy to travel and makes for a great gift to share.
