Setting Boundaries

Although extended family has not crossed my boundaries in some time (knock on wood), I think it’s a good time to reflect back on my post in May 2022.  Since then I have identified what brings me happiness (for now), acknowledged my most important roles and defined my core values.  Not only does this roll into making better decisions, it can help me better define my boundaries.

Insight as to Why I Struggle to Do Anything

I felt I sounded like a child to my therapist, complaining that I want things done, just don’t want to do them.  She seemed as she understood and she shared why—too much going on and not enough resources.  Not a surprise, huh?  She provided me this article which gives a better understanding what goes on from the brain’s perspective.
