I haven’t tried embroidery since that time from oh long ago…was I 7 or 8? …sitting in a play room by myself while my sister worked out at the gym.
I’ve been wanting to try it out again, but my fear of being afraid I would fail stopped me. I didn’t want to invest the money if I failed.
Mindless activities I enjoy are easy puzzles and coloring.
Easy puzzles quiet my mind as I focus on completing the puzzle. When they are easy, I don’t get frustrated in solving them.
When I color, I’m able to either think (or not) about something (a hope or a problem) slowly. The coloring slows the thoughts in my brain.
Inspired by Heart Filled Spaces, made these adorable pumpkins. It’s a really easy and mindless craft, as long as you make the hole big enough (finally got it after the 3rd try – hole is about the size of a quarter)
